Professional Information
Keith Sloan has been a resident of Williston
for more than 45 years. He attended Williston Public Schools
and graduated from Williston Elko High School. He earned a
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with specialization
in Accounting from the University of South Carolina, Columbia.
Mr. Sloan has held various financial management positions
within industry. He has operated an accounting, business services
and income tax firm in Williston for over 23 years serving
clients in various business sectors and individuals with tax
planning and compliance services. He is a Licensed Accounting
Practitioner, Accredited Business Accountant, Accredited Tax
Advisor and is an Enrolled Agent with the US Treasury Department.
Mr. Sloan has been active in many community service organizations
including the Williston Lions Club, Barnwell County Sertoma
Club and Williston Jaycees. He is a former member of the Board
of Directors of Barnwell Conty Hospital.
He is a board member of the Lower Savannah Council of Governments,
Three Rivers Solid Waste Authority, Three Rivers Solid Waste
Technology Center and is a member of the Board of Directors
of the South Carolina Society of Accountants.

Jowers was born and raised in Blackville, SC. He married Juliette
Fickling in 1954.
Lowell graduated from Blackville High in 1954. He attended Brevard
Junior College-Cocoa, FL, Wharton School of Business-Wharton,
PA, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, MI. Lowell was also enrolled
with the International Correspondence School.

Councilman Trexler is married to wife Jimmie Kelly Trexler for
an outstanding 55 years.
Flowe graduated from NC State in 1943 with an Engineering Degree
and then went on to Navy War College in 1944-1945 and studied
Marine Engineering and Structural Engineering.

Professional Information
Flowe Trexler has been on County Council for 11
years, and served as the Chairman for Zoning and Planning for
16 years with the City of Barnwell. Councilman Trexler started
his career in the US Navy, Charleston, SC as a Marine Engineer.
(1943-1945) He went on to work 42 years with Milliken and Co.,
Spartanburg, Clemson, and Barnwell, SC before retiring in 1987.
